I thought you sounded great!! Fun energy and a really nice voice, I can totally see you doing character work 😃

Melody Rainelle

Really nice energy and character in your read!

0:15 "GGG". If this were a commercial, you would generally want to throw a lot of emphasis and confidence on the company brand (maybe even some warmth like a hug) - after all - that's important (and they're probably the one paying you!). :)

0:26 While the laugh felt forced, I loved how you saw it through and made it its own special moment by throwing in the extra "I'm funny" line. Made me smile. Nice job!

0:33 I could tell you were practicing the articulation and did very well in general! At this timestamp, the ending "c" in "classic" didn't fully come through. Same with "g" at the end of "bug" at 0:38. Be aware of areas where you speed up when practicing articulation as that makes it more challenging to articulate the words fully like "animated" near 0:59. The ends of words will often get left off or end with a soft sound, so when you are practicing articulation make sure the full word is pronounced.

0:57 Nice addition of a laugh reaction to make the moment come to life/more real.

0:59 Nice change-ups and dynamics in your reading here.

1:20 Again, nice energy and change-ups in the read.

The reason we practice enunciation and articulation and even exaggerate while practicing these is so it gets our minds and mouths used to not being lazy when we speak, which is very important with voice acting to ensure we are clearly heard and understood. That's why people pay for professional voice overs! :D

I noticed a number of gasping breaths in your read - be sure to practice breathing and strengthening exercises. As you progress in your journey, learning to edit down the volume of breaths can help a lot too. Another big next step when your ready for it, will be to get more acoustic/sound treatment for your recording space to cut down on the room reverb. This will open up even more opportunities for you in the future. Keep up the good work!

Overall, great energy and projection, nice character moments in your read. Keep working on the articulation and breathing - you will see results! Nice job!
