Given their situation and how their RNG based skillset is liable to backfire (sometimes quite literally) on them, any prospective actors should be able to also convey panic and frustration when fortune doesn't feel like favoring the bold. For chance you're free to play around with how rough/raspy or smooth/clear you want the voice itself to sound as long as you can make him sound charming.
