Nice job! First, let's talk about the projection! You’re speaking pretty low so there’s a lack of projection going on for the scene given - you’re in a gymnasium with no microphone and you need the people at the other end of the gym to be able to hear you. With the volume you’re giving right now, this wouldn’t fit the scene. I can hear you don’t have enough air in your lungs, which plays a big role in projection. Make sure you use your diaphragm to fill up your lungs, sit up nice and straight so that you aren’t folding your abdomen, and push out those words! More breath control will even help you in the intensity of your tone and give you so much more room to play.It seems like you’re taking your time and making sure things are clearly said which is wonderful, but feel free to play around with your pacing so nothing is too slow and there aren’t an overabundance of micro pauses throughout words. Think about how you naturally speak to people. Sometimes reading the script ahead a few times aloud can also help you so that you’re ready to dive in and it doesn’t sound as if you’re reading it as a cold read. Cold reads are a challenge in themselves so for homeworks, we want you to focus on the basic basics first. But no worries, practice is key for everything!
