Description: Valencia is yet another one of the humans under Cassius’ militia faction. Valencia is a tough, no-nonsense type of character who can come off as very stoic and cold at times. Despite this, she’s a lot more than that and just wants to do her part like everyone else. Valencia often does not play into Miles’ shenanigans and will drag him away by the ear whenever he sees a beautiful girl. Valencia herself is a rather beautiful girl when she isn’t hiding under her military garbs.

(Irritated/ Unimpressed) “Seriously? For Great Spirit’s sake, you’re a SOLDIER first. Why don’t you use your brain to think instead of your hormones?”
(Deadpan/ Relaxed) “Settling down is not something I have on my mind at this moment in time. However, it could be pleasant to do so.”
(Tough/ Interrogatory) “This crime you’ve committed is high treason against Farendia and its King! You’ve been using dark magic, haven’t you? Tell us who else is involved before we slit your throats. We know now that there is much more at play here.”
Definitely needs more work on making Valencia sound more in control, especially on line 3! I'm still getting a lot of echo and that is going to be hard to edit and get rid of in post! D:
Thanks for the feedback! I'm out of town and was recording in an untreated room, so that's probably the issue. I'll see if I can find a better room to record in.
Yeah unfortunately I tried recording in several other rooms, and all of them were too echo-y. :( I'm pretty new to the audio engineering side of voiceover, but I'll look into getting a better setup once I'm home and hopefully I can try for the next round of auditions.
