Gilbert is a polite, open, honest, and meek person who is bold and daring enough to get his role voided despite it's dire consequences. He is also always gentle and kind. However, Gilbert is somewhat submissive when it comes to Darius because he is indebted to him. At the same time, Gilbert can't stand it if someone intimidating like Darius insults others, and won't hesitate to jump in and demand that they apologize to the other party. Gilbert cannot control his emotions very well, and when he gets emotional, he kind of panics and his tucked wings will pop up, knocking down anything that is nearby.

Gilbert blushes when embarrassed, and is very easy to read. He unintentionally makes his emotions very obvious.
