If you filed a 238 form without the proper itemized list and appropriate expenses, you’ll have to amend your submission with a 382 form explaining why there was no list or a 832 form amending the itemized list with the correct list of itemized…items. You have to submit that within 21 days of the original filing unless you fill out form 11382 which applies for an extension of the filing another 21 days, which takes about 21 days to process, so you pretty much have to file for the extension on the same day you make the original submission. Otherwise you’re gonna get penalized at nine percent every day based on the highest taxable rate. Simple accounting, really.
