Luna Absinthe was once Diana Thomas’ best friend but was consumed by jealousy and resentment after being caught trying to frame Diana for cheating. Kage, recognizing her bitterness, hypnotized her and granted her the Moon Stone, transforming her into the sinister Darkgirl.
Darkgirl wields the powers of darkness and moonlight, giving her enhanced agility, stealth, and the ability to manipulate shadows. She is vengeful, unpredictable, and fueled by a desire to prove herself superior to Diana. Though under Kage’s influence, fragments of her former self occasionally resurface, adding a layer of inner conflict to her character.
