The oldest pilot of the squadron, Charles "Charlie" Spurling was one of the first members of the team. Interestingly enough, he was the one who convinced Lyra to start her own squadron in the first place. Charlie was originally Lyra's commanding officer in his own squadron. However, after a disastrous mission with his old squadron, he, Lyra and one other member were the only survivors. He wanted Lyra to be the leader of the new Squadron because he knew if it weren't for her, they would have been captured or killed. As such, he learns from his own mistakes, using his knowledge to make him a better soldier overall.

Age: Late 20s

Charlie's voice is low, gravelly and with a subtle southern drawl. Being the oldest of the squad, Charlie has seen many battles during his time in the Star Force.
