  • Nearly a hundred years ago, a global pandemic emerged. All of the newborns in that hospital fell extremely ill, all with one symptom that still baffles scientists to this day. Their eyes turned purple. As the virus did not present in anyone other than newborns, doctors and family had unknowingly caught the virus, spreading it to others. Thousands of newborns were inevitably affected.
