ItsSKYDUDE for Genie (Speaking)
As well as largely driving the plot in the first film, the Genie serves as comic relief in each of his appearances. He is shown to have unlimited shapeshifting abilities, which allow for many and varied sight gags; however, he is unable to kill anyone, make anyone fall in love, fully revive the dead, or provide additional wishes. The Genie's supernatural abilities permit him to break the fourth wall, as well as parody real-life people and popular culture completely beyond the boundaries of his native universe. For instance, during production of Aladdin , Robin Williams would improvise various impersonations at will, and his animator Eric Goldberg would choose the ones that would be translated into the film.
I do not expect this impression (or Genies impressions, in fact) to be perfect. I am looking for someone who can capture the energy of Robin William's performance as well as the heart. Being able to stretch from a medium-low to high voice range would be ideal as well.

GENIE: Aaaaahhhhh! OY! Ten-thousand years will give you such a crick in the neck! Hang on a second. Whoa! Does it feel good to be outta there! (GENIE uses the lamp end of himself as a microphone.) I’m telling ya, nice to be back, ladies and gentlemen. Hi, where are ya from? (Sticks the mic in ALADDIN's face.) What's your name?
GENIE: Ah, rule number one: I can't kill anybody. (He slices his head off with his finger.) So don't ask. Rule number two: I can't make anyone fall in love with anyone else. (Head turns into a big pair of lips which kiss ALADDIN.) You little ponem, there. Lies flat, then gets up and transforms into a zombie.) Rule number three: I can't bring people back from the dead. It's not a pretty picture, (He grabs ALADDIN and shakes him) I don't like doing it! (He poofs back to normal.) Other than that, you got it!
GENIE: (Comes out of the LAMP) But, oh--to be free. Not have to go "Poof! What do you need? Poof! What do you need? Poof! What do you need?" To be my own master, such a thing would be greater than all the magic and all the treasures in all the world! But what am I talking about? Let's get real here. It's not gonna happen. Genie, wake up and smell the hummus.
