Mamiko is a sweet and unassuming fashionista with a surprising violent streak. Known for a harsh style of massage that’s more punching than massaging, Mamiko has built a career around easing the pain of others through inflicting it. Despite her focus on aesthetics, Mamiko despises unwanted attention being placed on her, too used to being looked at as “other” or “exotic” due to being mixed race in Japan. She will often cut down others with harsh words if they comment on her appearance, even as a compliment. While she is inherently good natured, Mamiko has a tendency to focus on the surface level of people and situations, making her ill-suited to the mysteries and manipulation present in the killing game.

Due to Mamiko being mixed-race (African American and Japanese specifically), we’d like to encourage black and mixed voice actors to apply for this role particularly as to bring some authenticity to the character and her experiences, as her background as a mixed race person in Japan is a major element of her backstory that informs her character. This is not a necessity however, and all auditionees will be considered by merit regardless of identity.
