As the soundtrack composer, you will compose the music of Insectarium Chapter. You are free to stay on the team if you feel inclined.

I will hand you the outline and anything else you might need to have an understanding of the game's story and the different parts. There are currently around 5 tracks needed, however that number may vary depending on what you perceive necessary.

Tracks may be subjected to change after completion if any changes in the game itself make it no longer viable. However, I should not ever need to have you completely overhaul a song, and I haven't made any major changes to the game in quite a long time so you should be fine.

Please link a few tracks you've made along with a demo reel if you have one. You can also share any further information or socials as long as it's pertinent to your work.

The flat rate mentioned will be per song. A milestone system will be implemented (every 2 songs). The current rate is temporary and discussions can be had surrounding payment.

Insectarium - Chapter 1

Good evening,

First off, I want to say that I absolutely love your work. You're very clearly experienced in the field and every piece clearly communicates what you wanted it to. There is no doubt that you could bring something special to the project. I also love your passion towards the game, though of course I tried my best to be neutral. Even so, seeing someone so willing to work on Insectarium really made my day.

However, I sadly have to inform you that you have not made the cut. It's nothing you did wrong, I just don't think your sound completely matches what I have in mind for the project.

I really hope you have a lovely day and hope that you find good work in the future! You made it all the way to top 3 in the process of elimination and you'll surely make it to the finish line in whatever you decide to pursue

Thank you so much taking the time to leave a comment to let me know and for the kind words about my music! Considering that I made it to the top three is a win in my book. Good luck with your game! I really was honest about my interest in the angle that tries to avoid and correct the sins of other copy-cat mascot horror games. I had fallen down the rabbit hole of lore, what if, and technical game development analysis videos for FNAF and the like, so that's why I was intrigued by your concept. Already subscribed to your YouTube channel, so I'll be keeping an eye on the progress!
