The mysterious transfer student, who seems to have some sort of connection with Madoka. She is normally quiet and keeps to herself, seeming cold and stoic whenever she speaks with anyone. She is rather intimidating, but can lose her demeanor at emotional moments, as she tries to keep her inner turmoil bottled up. She cares deeply for Madoka, and seems to have great dislike for Kyubey.

  • "Hello... I am Homura Akemi. It's a pleasure to meet you all."

  • "You're... Madoka Kaname, right? Do you mind showing me to the nurse's office? I'm still unsure how to find my way around..."
