Yes, I know that trick. "If I say it as if I am yelling, then I turn up the volume afterwards, it will sound like a real yell." You're not fooling anyone. I know you didn't actually yell.
The best way to record this line, is start by visiting all of your neighbours and saying, "I'm about to record three lines. Do not call the police when I do. I'll just be pretending to be afraid of a dragon." Then, when recording, understand that the neighbours will think little of you if you don't give a loud shout worthy of such a warning.
