He stepped down to intervene, answering people’s prayers and helping others, sacrificing himself for the cause. People revered him as the Dogtooth Angel, and after his eventual disappearance, they began forming a religion that awaited his return. Torn between being idolised as a god and running from a family who saw themselves as gods, Michael’s wish was to find the real God.
