Honestly, this is such a mood, like even I am still struggling with playing my recordings and adjusting the background noise lmao
The struggle is real haha.
Hi there,
Alright, this was both impressive and probably the most unusual audition I've ever received, haha. I’m not sure where to start. On the positive side, you have great acting skills—something that works exceptionally well in this type of format, including your voice tone, even though the specific voice needed for this role is a bit different. However, I can definitely see it working perfectly for other roles I have in the pipeline.
As you mentioned, the gain was extremely low, so I'm not sure if this was raw audio or if the gain was so low that I couldn't hear the background noise, which might become too pronounced if boosted. There were also some plosives and breath hitting the microphone at certain points, which are things to watch out for.
Because I genuinely believe you have talent that could fit well with other roles, I encourage you to re-audition for future opportunities, keeping these points in mind. Thank you again, and have a great day!
Background noise is not a problem guaranteed. I have a proper recording booth and a Sennheiser MKH 416. I literally just forgot to turn the dial on my interface. Let me know what role you want me to try for and I'll give it my all.
Great, thanks for your feedback. I’ll be sure to reach out as soon as a role matches your profile. Have a great day!
