Hi there,
Thank you so much for your audition. I thought your interpretation of all three scenes was very strong. It felt genuine and authentic. However, in the third scene, the emotion in your voice could be enhanced—he should sound more broken and desperate at the thought of losing the person he loves. Additionally, in that scene, there was noticeable breath hitting the microphone, which might be due to your equipment or positioning. There was also a slight echo when you spoke, which raises questions about the soundproofing of your studio. Could you share more details about your equipment, the interface you use, and how you handle sound treatment? If possible, could you re-audition with cleaner, raw audio so we can see if these issues can be corrected?
Thank you!
Hey thank you for the response. I can redo it at some point. Currently i am using a condensor microphone called the HyperX quadcast. I am upgrading to a high end condensor very soon. As for soundproofing the studio currently there is none, but i can create some by using blankets etc. As for the breathyness, that was due to poor placement of the microphone and was recently changed.
Thank you for your feedback. Could you redo a few seconds of the third scene so I can hear the difference with the adjustments? Thanks!
