So, do you have a compression default labeled "Pure Dark Velvet"? Gods, this is smooth as frak! I haven't learned to edit my voice with Audition, yet, but I'mma need to if I'm going to keep up with guys like you. LOL

Dude, your audition kicks ass regardless. As for compression, do you use any kind of program or do you record and upload straight away?

I use Adobe Audition. I have an interface, but it's not a mixing board or anything. A friend of mine showed me how to use dynamics processing to take the edges off any spikes or plosives that may have made their way in, but, no, It's record, delete everything but the best takes of the bunch, if some of it is really hot, I'll run a dynamics processing preset (soft gate 12 or 24, i THINK) to smooth out spikes, and then it's submit time.

Well whatever you are doing seems to work pretty well I would say. What I do is record, apply a small noise reduction to the whole track, chop the track up in Sony Vegas while applying a compression and and equalizer filter then render in .wav It's nothing fancy really but if you wanna know anything more specific. shoot :)

Cool. I'll mess around with that and see what I can learn. I've heard major studios like Funimation and such like to hear raw ability and not altered stuff, so I never really dealt with it, but these record at home projects would probably benefit from me being able to do some eq work.

I set my audition speakers on the floor, and your voice dug a hole three feet deep. Through concrete. How in the hell do you produce so much bass? . . .Okay. I'll admit to a little VO man-crush here. Awesome, as always.
