Yasuo made a pact with demons for his phenomenal power, but what he got out of the bargain is unclear (even he doesn't know or remember). He is enjoying his newfound strength, but deep down he knows that when Riven finds him, he will have to enter a death struggle with his best friend to keep his end of the Devil's bargain.


Although he enjoys his power, the real Yasuo is being buried underneath demonic possession. His voice is rough, but not deep, and it will dip into more human tones when the real Yasuo surfaces. Being a demon-like creature, simply being near Riven is enough to cause Yasuo physical pain, and they will have interactions as such. His voice should sound like he is enjoying himself, but he's also very clearly afraid of what will happen when his actions catch up to him.
