Deferred: Agreed Amount
Role assigned to: VestigialVirtue

Significant character with time skip appearance

Vocal Profile: tenor to baritone range; casual, conversational tone with some slang and profanity in his speech; (light) British accent is strongly preferred but you may audition without one (don't let the accent put you off, I encourage you to try regardless!)

Character Profile: aged 19/20; childhood friend of the protagonist and right-hand man to Rai; laid back attitude and unbothered by most things but finds entertainment in aggravating other people, especially the protagonist; slightly nihilistic outlook and dislikes work without profit

Please also repeat these lines in a deeper/mature voice. Otherwise, feel free to take creative liberties with the lines!

  • [mocking] You, princess? Beat me? [laughs] Since when did you get a sense of humour?

  • [threatening] Listen up. Unless you want your royal hide handed to you on a silver platter— [sighs] just go home.

  • [monologue] Yo. Alvah Marcello here, I understand you wanted to meet with the tenants of this residence? Do I know them? Yes. Do I want to know them? Hell. No. [sighs] Unfortunately I've been designated babysitter for a particular nuisance and frankly she'd get into more trouble if I wasn't. What? Me? [chuckles] Nice try, but I don't think you have authority to access information that's classified. Wait...she what?! [curses] Just when you think you can catch a break. Sorry to cut this short, I have to go.

Your pacing is too fast, this detracts from any emotive tones you're trying to use. Make the time for pauses and emphasis placement like in the second line, it will make your delivery of these lines sound stronger. Your laugh doesn't seem quite natural either but you do have a good handle over your inflections. If you're starting out then the advice I can provide is project your voice and practice, thank you for taking the time for this audition!

Do you think I should try again with the advice you have given me? Or move on? I will take your advice either way, thank you!

Of course, you're more than welcome to retry! It'll be good practice even if you're not selected, just be mindful of your pacing, emphasis placement and the clarity and confidence in your voice. Good luck!
