Personally I've only denied one person based on their profile picture, but that's just because in the beginning moderators did not have a set of standards solidified. It's nobody's direct fault, just miscommunication. However, with the set of standards that's coming out, I think it will give the community a better idea what moderators are looking for with verification. It was not explained that we looked at information on the profile very much, and this is a problem. I do want to apologize for the miscommunication, and I assumed it was straight forward to just change if it was a copyrighted photo to using something else, but it's really not a big deal and as I said, I have only ever done it once. The profile picture is more there for members who have inappropriate content as their profile picture. As far as your profile, the main problem I see is that you don't have a demo reel. Again, this is something that was miscommunication and I'm so thankful we will be publicizing the standards for. A demo reel is a must for verification. Mics like the snowball are kind of notorious for that (I used to have a blue yeti), but I would look up tutorials on how to better set up a recording area where you don't have to be so close?
