Poe uses They/Them pronouns. We are only considering a Non-Binary actor for this role at this time. Please do not audition if you do not fit this criteria.

Poe hates the sun, and thinks it is a cruel trick of nature that the world needs it in the first place. Most comfortable in the dark, they spend their nights hanging around graveyards, listening to music, and feeling vaguely angry at nothing in particular. They insist it isn't a phase.

For voice reference, I'm thinking potentially like one of the Goth kids from South Park. They're someone who doesn't care about the world much, and just wants to be left alone in darkness. They aren't outwardly sad, or depressed, they're more content with their view of the world.

This role, as all of my animation roles do, pays $3 per line with a minimum rate of $50. This number can increase based on the number of lines in any given script. So, if a character has 10 lines - they get paid $50. If someone has 20 lines, they get paid $60 etc. For this particular script, Poe only has 5 lines. At $3 per line - this defaults to the minimum of $50.

I want to be upfront with the fact that this is a tight turnaround. I'm looking to cast ASAP. So, if I find a voice that I think nails the role, I will very likely cast them soon afterwards. As such, if you want a better chance of landing the role, please audition ASAP or DM me to express your intent to audition. If cast, lines must be turned in by this Monday, 10/14/24 by 9am CT.
