It’s good! You could definitely do commercials, of you wanted to. I can hear you doing commercials for kids toys, or something. I don’t know how to explain it, but your tone and pitch sound right for that.
You can absolutely do commercials with some practice! Some things that can help you have more engaging reads is to vary your tone, pace, and volume when speaking. Changing these will grab the audience’s attention and keep it for longer. Since this is a long list, you can try emphasizing different parts of it to get some more variety in your read. Keep in mind the prompt of being in a gymnasium without a microphone. You could potentially be speaking to a large crowd of people in a big room, so you will need your voice to be carried throughout it. To do this you will want to project your voice. To project you will want to have supported breaths by engaging your diaphragm when speaking. To get better at this you can try some breathing exercises to build up your breath strength. Keep practicing!
