Please read this listing carefully before you consider applying:A brand new freeform format streaming internet radio station is opening up and we are looking for talented individuals to be DJ's on the station. Our radio network gets thousands on thousands of listening hours per month and is one of the biggest streaming radio outlets online.

Format - Free format. You can do whatever genre you like, though the general feel of the station will be punk, indie, alternative, outlaw, etc... as long as its FCC compliant and doesn't have to be labeled "explicit" its open. Programs are in four hour blocks on weekdays, or specialty blocks on weekends. The opportunity for a themed weekend show is also available. Once trained and going with the software, a four hour program usually takes an hour to complete because its pre-tracked and not live.

Talent - Radio experience is desired in some way but not exactly neccesary... if you have a great voice and great delivery you should still apply. . ... considerations made for people who are talented enough to pick it up quickly.

Expectations - Be able to communicate clearly, be friendly, and deliver in a professional way. If you have a hard time holding a conversation, this probably isn't for you. You have to be expressive, outgoing, informative, etc... like you would hear a DJ be on the radio, except not annoying and no linkin park 17 times a day.

Gear - You have to have a professional sounding setup. That doesnt mean the most expensive or million dollar studio environment, you just cant sound like you are recording on your phone in your bathroom or on a cheap walmart microphone in your bedroom. It has to be quality sound.

  Time and Commitment: You will be expected to commit to this for the long term. This is not a one time job, a project for youtube, or something we are playing around and practicing with. This is a serious and professional environment where you will be expected to commit and show up for what you agree to. If your life is too hectic or outside influences get in the way of your projects too often, this is not for you. You will be expected to utilize team communication on Discord.

The boring particulars READ CAREFULLY:PLEASE NOTE: This is a remote position from wherever you are, and unfortunately its open to Windows PC users only unless you have a program to run windows on your mac system. Software and training will be provided. We would highly prefer you be at least 21 years old, American or British (not fake British, actually British) and be able to speak cleanly and clearly. If you dont fit this criteria but still have outstanding talent or experience, you will be considered.
