Mega Man X, or simply "X" is a peacekeeping member of the Maverick Hunters. X has fought the reploid leader Sigma multiple times. Together with his best friend and leader of the Maverick Hunters,  Zero, he will fight to protect what he holds most dear. X is very naive and wants to avoid fighting whenever possible opting for a more peaceful solution to a world where reploids and humans can co-exist.
