Sample

I looked up at the ever-expanding blue sky, the clouds passed by moment by moment. My breath and body feel cold as I float helplessly down the river carrying me away further and further from the battle. As the clouds and trees move away from me, so does the blood flowing out of my gashes and holes created by blades and arrows. And as the river takes me away to my final destination, to the dark ocean where I will be gulped by the abyssal waters where fish and crabs will bury me, so too does the life I led. No more will I grab the hilt of my sword and run it through widows, no more will I creep like a fox in shame, no more will I hear the wailings of families and no more will I serve that bastard usurper.
