Gravia - Video Game
Harry Dyer for Director Alviston
Please see the Google Docs description of this project, where the full details are explained:

This description of the character comes from that document:
James Alviston is the founder and Director of Gravia Technologies. He’s a visionary scientist who discovered/invented the technology to create and control Rifts, which are like small black holes. He’s exceptionally competent, but without any apparent arrogance or contempt.
Alviston is very hands-on with the technology, but he also cares deeply about all of the people working at the facility. He’s protective, fatherly, and warm-hearted. But he also has his own personal goals and agenda, which may end up being at odds with the safety of those around him…
Alviston doesn’t have any specific accent, but his voice is commanding and strong, inspiring, but kind. I'm most inclined to deeper voices, with a definite sense of Alviston's somewhat advanced age.
- english
- male adult

Hi Harry. Nice audition. Casting is open until September 5, so I'll be holding off on any final decisions until then. But I'll let everyone know one way or the other once I've decided.

Thank you very much, sir, I really enjoyed the script snippets. The game trailer looks amazing and the lines red really well. Hopefully hear back from you in the week. Can’t wait to see how the project progresses.

P.s. meant to say it gave me some Serious portal vibes and I’m a massive fan of those games! Anything like that catches my interest from the get go! Can’t beat a bit of Glados and Wheatley 🤖
I'm sorry to have to say that I'm unable to offer you the role of Alviston in my game. In total, I heard over 60 auditions, so narrowing it down to just a single actor was difficult. I do appreciate the time you took sending in your audition, and I'm sorry it didn't turn out differently. Best of luck in your future roles.
