Michael Zeppenfeld for Chester Matthews/Omega
Meet Chester Matthews, a laid-back young man whose primary ambition in life is to take it easy and enjoy the simple pleasures. Affectionately known as Chester, he finds solace in the familiar rhythms of life – whether it's tinkering around his dad's auto shop on the outskirts of Aviated York or spending time with his friends at school.
However, Chester's tranquil existence is upended when he discovers a family heirloom, the mysterious Omega Crest. To his astonishment, the crest binds to him, revealing his lineage as a direct descendant of a race bestowed with extraordinary powers by the ancient Greek gods. Suddenly thrust into a world of superhuman abilities, Chester reluctantly assumes the mantle of a hero, christened as Omega.
Despite his newfound status as a protector of Aviated York, Chester grapples with an internal conflict between his innate laziness and the responsibilities thrust upon him as Omega. While he yearns for the comfort of idleness, the city's need for a hero demands his attention and action.
Fortunately, Chester finds a source of motivation and guidance in his friend and fellow hero, Blink. With Blink's encouragement and occasional nudges, Chester reluctantly rises to the occasion, albeit with varying degrees of enthusiasm.
As Omega, Chester navigates the complexities of balancing his desire for leisure with the call to heroism, stumbling along the way but ultimately embracing his role in safeguarding Aviated York. With a laid-back demeanor and a heart of gold, Chester Matthews – or Omega – emerges as an unlikely but endearing hero, bringing his own unique flair to the city's roster of champions.

(In a playful tone, teasing his best friend Blink) Come on man. Don't tell me you're scared to race me!
(In a very sluggish monotone, as if he'd just woken up or can't be bothered) Ughh. Come on, why can't we just hit the pool, take a break. Kick back and relax y'know? *Sigh* Just one day where I don't have to hero up would be nice...
(In a fearful tone, as if he's met his match) Alright, alright. You've shown me plenty enough. I'm not worthy of my crest, I understand. Just, let them go.
