Fresh is basically “programmed” to not be able to comprehend or exhibit empathy as well as most other emotions. The only exceptions to this are fear, stemming from the parasite's innate desire to survive, and rage, induced by his struggle with emotions and receiving affection.

He has a pretty lax attitude and tends to "go with the flow”. Most of this is due to his lack of caring for basically anything. He does not kill his victims, preferring to leave as many bodies “open” as possible for possible infection later. In Fresh's own words, he prefers to be a “totes rad broseph” but often ends up being blunt and will blurt out the truth before thinking of what he's saying. He isn't shallow and is in fact highly intelligent. When encountered, he usually is extremely 'PC' unless trying to gain a new host.
