  • What followed was a massacre. From the point of view of the weaker soldiers back at the caravan, Noah was simply walking through the enemy lines. However, anyone he passed by would just seemingly collapse, their throats sliced or their chests pierced. Blood flowed freely onto the ground, mixing and filling into bright red puddles. None watching noticed that some of the better weapons the villagers had were disappearing before touching the ground, sucked into a spot on Noah’s waist. When Noah made his way back to the caravan, his leather shoes were drenched in blood, leaving a vivid red trail on the ground where he walked. An indifferent expression was on his face, like he had just come back from a simple stroll.

  • It was spring, or at least it seemed so from what he saw of the outside environment. The mansion he lived in resembled a countryside villa from his previous life, yet it had the size of a castle and was mostly made of wood, with a wall made of rocks on the perimeter. Currently he was in the arms of his new mother, peeking around while she was walking through the mansion talking to him. Little did she know that Noah managed to understand most of what she said.

  • As he leaned in to kiss her, Lily took out one of the mirror-shards from her sleeve and stabbed it into Rhys’ left eye. Rhys instinctively flung her away at full strength causing her to slam against the wall of the room and then fall to the floor. While Rhys was considered weak amongst cultivators, a weak cultivator is still a cultivator, his blow from before had easily broken some of Lily’s ribs. / Blood gushed from his eye socket, the shard had pierced him deeply, he wasn’t sure whether he would be able to recover from this injury. The thought of being maimed by a lowly whore enraged Rhys even more as he stomped forward. However, Lily had already taken out the other hidden shard, gripping it tightly. / With resolve, Lily stabbed down upon her throat. As she Lay there, she radiated a bright smile while life seeped away from her, happy to know that her plan had succeeded. And with that thought, Lily died.
