Twisted Tales
Jay Synth Vibes for Other Roles
I'm hoping to find people with range that can perform as different types of characters in future episodes (or even in this one as it develops with potential for more characters). Show me what you can do! Show me why YOU stand out! Introduce yourself, improv, show me your range! Feel free to use the lines below as a rough template or upload a sample or demo.
Introduce yourself! What's your name? Why are you a voice actor and what's special about that to you? What uniqueness do you bring to Voice Acting? Anything else?
*Improv coming home after a long day to the love of your life greeting you with a warm smile*
*Improv being angry at someone that has just turned your last 4 hours of hard work into a waste*
Hey Jay, I absolutely love you! You are so authentic, so real, and seem like SO much fun to work with. I actually want to work with you! I also love your voice! I'm gonna try and give you some things here I hope will help. First, crank that gain up. I could see it right away in the wave form, but playing each clip confirmed the gain control is a little messy. I need to crank my headphone volume all the way up to hear you clearly. For your take on Charlie, I loved how you were able to just let go and get into a completely different headspace. It doesn't quite work for what I'm looking for, but I don't think it was bad. As a matter of fact, you made me think of a squirrel in a cartoon hahaha I think you'd be a great animated character! I don't think I have anything to say about your narration. It's not quite what I'm looking for for this episode, but I'd definitely be interested in hearing you narrate a different episode with a different vibe that fits you better. Thank you for auditioning. Definitely would like to keep up as a peer.
I had a feeling that the gain was too low, I'll have to keep that in mind for the future. I would also love to be a peer with you! I had fun auditioning for all of these roles! Thank you for the feedback! I'll try my best to implement it in the future!
