Twisted Tales
Miguel Larios for Other Roles
I'm hoping to find people with range that can perform as different types of characters in future episodes (or even in this one as it develops with potential for more characters). Show me what you can do! Show me why YOU stand out! Introduce yourself, improv, show me your range! Feel free to use the lines below as a rough template or upload a sample or demo.
Introduce yourself! What's your name? Why are you a voice actor and what's special about that to you? What uniqueness do you bring to Voice Acting? Anything else?
*Improv coming home after a long day to the love of your life greeting you with a warm smile*
*Improv being angry at someone that has just turned your last 4 hours of hard work into a waste*
Miguel, you are GOING PLACES, brotato. Absolutely LOVED your authenticity. Unfortunately, many slates feel rehearsed. And for the chance to introduce yourself in depth here, you really went for it. I felt like I was shaking your hand and saying, "Nice to meet you, Miguel," with a big grin on my face. You just seem like a really cool dude! You're taking me back to the begging of my VA journey. I remember just kinda testing things out here on CCC and then feeling like, "Woah..this is it. This is where I belong." And then when you said everything is expensive, I cracked up! Yes! I love this industry so much, but I can't stand how pay to win it feels. That's a whole 'nother conversation right there. What I can say for being on a budget is put some blankets up. I can hear that your space isn't treated all too well. You don't need to invest in a super high quality microphone and acoustic foam two months in. What you can do is get a thick blanket hung up behind you. When you speak into the mic, some of your vocals bounce off the wall in front of you, then back to the wall all the way on the other side behind you, then back into the mic. You can hear this very clearly when you were yelling for the last bit or when you were laughing in the beginning. You need something to absorb and block all that bouncing around. As far as the acting, only feedback I have is to make sure you don't over-humanize or else things start to feel unnatural. I heard this in the beginning of your first improv. There was too much voice wobble and laughter/giggling woven in. You don't want to over-season your sauce. Literally nothing that's a dealbreaker though. In live direction, I'd simply point it out and ask you for another go with just a tad less. That's all I got for ya. I loved this!
Hello! Sorry to do a copy and paste here, but I have a bunch of lovely VAs to get through. If you're seeing this, you're one of my favorites that I unfortunately don't have room for just yet. But I'd like to do more episodes if this one goes well, and I'd love to add you to the pool of people that I can call on in the future. If you'd like to be open for later episodes, please let me know the best way to contact you either here in the comments or through DMs. If you decide to do a DM, please just comment that you've DM'd me so that when I'm going through my shortlist here in the future, I know to hunt you down in DMs.
Hey man Thank you so much for your input and i would love to be part of a future project in the mean time I will work on my acting again thank you so much.
