Valdra [Vol-Druh] is a recently awoken empress of a long-forgotten civilization. She was awoken from her tomb by the magical presence of The Lute.
She is the result of one of the first quests the player can take on in the story. Sort of a puzzle reward. Her presence is used for exposition and some gameplay mechanics learning.
The payment below is for the entire role's worth of lines, about 40, not just the opening cutscene.
VOICE NOTES: She is regal, speaks distinctly different compared to most other characters. This is her first time being awoken in almost 1000 years. She hasn't aged a day due to the magical aura she was protected by.

[Right before the player chooses to use The Lute magic or not] Last I remember, I was the leader of a great civilization of people. Now, I see nothing here but barren sands and scrap. What is your year, Gil? [Gil says his age] I did not mean your age. I meant to ask what year I find myself in.
[After Gil has used the Lute's magic on her] I am more than safe, Gil. I am alive again, thanks to you. And... I'm so... bottled up. You've already done so much, but I need help with something else, valiant goblin. *whispers, smiling* Have you ever been with an ancient empress?
