Rod Allen for Role
Full details of homework is on Closing Credits
Great job with enunciating your words! There were parts in the script where I could tell you were trying to convey a happier and more passionate tone, but it wasn’t quite coming across as those emotions. Try to physically smile when you are reading those parts where you are conveying happiness. When you smile while reading it the audience will be able to hear that. Same with the other emotions. Practice changing your volume a bit in your reads. Keeping the same volume throughout the entire script will cause your audience to lose a bit of interest due to it sounding the same. A softer voice can create a more calm and thoughtful tone, while louder may convey joy or energy. Read the words and pick out parts where certain emotions would come out like talking about how much Mrs. Nillimore means to you or when you talk about being a sickly child, which would be two different emotions. Overall, you did a good job!
thanks for your feedback, really appreciate it.
