Well done, tone and pace felt like I was listening to an audio book!
Nice job with speaking clearly! There were moments when I didn't hear the T in some words like "often" and "great". I want you to slow down just a tad bit. The pauses between sentences were appropriate, but be mindful of how fast you are speaking so that you have some time to add certain pre life and bring the character out even more. A lot of the sentences were said at the same pace as each other, which creates a monotonous sound, even if you are speaking with different inflections in your voice. Try thinking about the emotion in certain moments, like when speaking about your mom being around, you can try to speak slower and more quiet to bring some sadness, and when you talk about getting sweets speak quicker and brighter to convey happiness. Playing around with pacing and cadence will make your read sound more interesting to the audience, as the changes will grab their attention. Good job!
