Harrower used to work with Hordeculture alongside her great-aunt Augusta. In the wake of Cletus Kasady's attempted massacre of humanity, Harrower obtained a sample of the Carnage symbiote and began experimenting on it, attempting to create a clone of Carnage loyal to herself.
