i think at the start it defo was too soft at some point but it got really good the more you spoke. as for mary. i would say it like (merry) instead of (marry) but thats probably subjective.

You did a nice job with the pacing. I noticed a few times where you dropped off the ending sound of certain words. I heard it with the words “child” and “around”. It is easy to skip right over the end of the word and move onto the next, but I want you to make sure you’re ending your words fully. The audience will be able to understand you more clearly and it'll lead to less confusion if they can hear the entire word. I don’t think your tone was “too soft” for this read, but your gain seems a bit low or you're not close enough to your mic. I had to turn my volume up all the way and it's still a bit low, so just make sure your db is within at least -18 / -12 range. I believe you can shorten some of those pauses between a touch more since there is a bit of them or you can play around with some pre life in some of them like give some chuckles or sighs to fill them in with something. The softness fits well for this sort of script, just need that volume boosted a bit. Great job overall!
