CHARACTER/VOICE DESCRIPTIONS
Curt Connors, also known as the Lizard, is a complex character in the Spider-Man series, created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko, first appearing in The Amazing Spider-Man #6 in 1963. Connors is a brilliant geneticist specializing in reptilian biology who loses his right arm in an accident. Driven by a desire to regrow his limb, he develops a serum from reptilian DNA, which successfully regenerates his arm but has a catastrophic side effect: it transforms him into the Lizard, a monstrous, humanoid reptile with superhuman strength, agility, and regenerative abilities. This transformation causes a duality within Connors, as his human side remains intelligent and compassionate, while his Lizard persona is often savage and uncontrollable. Throughout the series, Connors struggles to control or cure his transformations, seeking Spider-Man's help on numerous occasions. Despite his tragic flaw, he maintains a deep bond with his family, particularly his wife, Martha, and his son, Billy, whose safety often motivates his actions. Connors' tragic story is marked by his oscillation between heroism and villainy, as he continually seeks redemption for the chaos and destruction caused by his Lizard alter ego, making him one of Spider-Man's most tragic and compelling adversaries.

Welcome. My name is Dr. Curtis Connors. And yes, in case you're wondering, I'm a southpaw. I'm not a cripple, I'm a scientist, and I am the world's most foremost authority in herpetology. That's reptiles, for those of you who don't know.
Poor Peter Parker. No father. No mother. No uncle. You're all alone.
All these souls, lost and alone. I can save them. I can cure them. There's no reason to stop me, Peter
