In his late 40s, he's a father to a daughter who has a terminal condition that doesn't allow her to leave her bed. He's extremely protective of her, and will do anything for her safety. His primary motivation is to be there for her girl as much as possible.
He's struggled alot in his past, struggling with addiction and staying out of trouble. Thankfully, he is good friends with one of the founders of ScryTech who gave him a job, and a chance to recover from his mistakes.
He is the story's main antagonist.
