Sylvester for Elena
A twenty-one year old faux rebel, Elena has never known real fear.
For as long as she can remember, Elena has been stricken with a sense of wanderlust, always looking for something more. She got her wish in the most horrific way she could have. When her parents are killed and she is forced to flee across the country with her little sister, she is incidentally granted the freedom she desired all these years. Distrust and desperation are the only constants she can count on anymore. As Elena scrambles to find a safe place for her and her sister, desperation builds to cursed promises and dead ends. At the very least, this is rock bottom; It can't get any worse.
Her future self envies her ignorance.
