 Jimmy is obsessed with detective literature and crime fiction. He imagines himself a detective and boasts about his successes solving cases back in his home country. He has the tendency not to think before he speaks and, on occasion, he gets words and terms mixed up due to his inefficiency in Japanese.

  • [heroically] "Hold it right there, inspector!"

  • [explaining] "Because I know we can solve it! [excited]  Just think about it! You and me solving crimes... getting all the bad guys...It'll be just like Detective Conan! Except the girl in there was cuter,  [starts to trail off] and nicer...and didn't beat him up as much....

  • [reading slowly] Ame...Onna.  [pronouced AH-MAY OHN NA][confused/frustrated] I don't get it. What's some candy woman got to do with this case at all?

Hope you like it, I just got my new microphone and auditioned here to test it out. Hopefully you like the audition though, the project looks like fun :) I tried a couple different pitches for the character and submitted each line three times, if you want me to reaudition and try something different give me a shout!

Thanks for your audition. Very nice! Your delivery of the lines is pretty much perfect. Can't really say much else. Only thing to improve on would be the your tone or pitch. Pretty much just making the character sound younger. Overall, great!
