These girls serve the character Matthew Patel. There's more than one of them every time they spawn, usually coming in a quintet. These girls embody the stereotypical hipster aesthetic, complete with ironic fashion choices and a nonchalant attitude. They also add a layer of both humor and menace to the narrative, blending their cool, detached demeanor in a memorable way.
