The Ultimate Hypnotist, Sonzai Ekibyō(Son - zai - EE ||Eh - key - be - yo), is a very dull person. He likes to use unconventional objects to hypnotize people, mainly as a challenge to himself.  He finds the concept of love to be dull and prefers to be alone. He has an ahoge (not plot armor) which curls to look similar to a spiral. In all honesty, he is your somewhat typical 'boring' character (but not emotionless!) that usually believes he has an answer before others. Due to the rather 'eccentric power,' it can have if he just used hypnotism to dictate the killer, he cannot use hypnotism when a body is found, all the way up until a trial is finished. Deemed to be the 'rival' character of the trials.
