A component engineer, he has a gruff but objective attitude, always trying to complete his work in a manner that is fast and practical. However, he is also easily agitated and quick to squabble with his crew as the team's negative-nancy. He also has a history in the military, and while not comfortable around death, he is not faced with shell shock when he encounters it.
