Older/middle aged man whose done his time on the force, he's seasoned as he's worked his way from a rookie to the boss, he's gruff/stern and definitely feels like he's getting too tired to keep doing this.

NOTE FOR FOLLOWING LINES:

The first 2 lines are of the chief talking to a news reporter as police secure the scene, wanting to reassure the press and public that they are doing the best they can and not to worry.

Now as for the final line, it can be also to the press, or it can be seen as something the chief would say to a younger cop when the cameras aren't on him, almost cautiously warning/passing wisdom to the younger (possibly rookie) officer. so if possible, try 2 takes of the final line where:

- In one take: you give the line as if you are expressing your disappointment with these locations with the press

- In another take: give the line as if now that the cameras are off, you can be a little more candid on how you really feel to a younger (possibly rookie) cop
