Role assigned to: Merlin Obadiah Cambridge

J. Jonah Jameson is the Editor-in-chief of the Daily Bugle. He has a headstrong personality, and is also quite loud to match it. However, unlike his Amazing counterpart (though maybe not as accurate anymore), doesn't have as much of the deep seated loathing for Spider-Man since he never existed, and himself. As a result, he seems to be much more light-hearted, and is even best friends with Ben Parker. He is like Peter's second uncle, even at the Bugle, and helps him out when he needs it.

J. Jonah Jameson is a main character, will probably have some of the loudest lines, and a decent chunk of dialogue in almost every issue. Please keep in mind that if you take this role, you have to take care of your throat as well. That said, for voice profile, if you can voice-match J.K. Simmons, you're a shoe-in for the role. However, especially for an unpaid project, I do not expect that. Just do your best scruffy, grumpy old man voice!

  • [yelling with increasing levels of intensity] PARKER! PARKER! Oh, hey there, Peter. No time for chitchat. PARKER!

  • [Amused] Kids these days. Always being cute, always being clever.

  • [Laugh loud enough like you're trying to startle an entire bar of people.] [Calming down from laughing] The *truth*. That's perfect. Thanks for that.

this is really good, but you might want to try lowering your microphone's gain next time so it doesn't clip

Yeah, I thought about that after I submitted and figured I could live with it for an audition lol
