Summer is Blake & Delilah’s Mum. She’s very similar to their dad, she is also a work alcoholic as they both work in the same company (aka they own the company). It was originally her parents. She is also very closed off to her children as her parents were the same to her. She spends even less time with her children than the dad. She doesn’t have a guilty conscience about it because this is how her parents were (aka she thinks it’s normal). (You can make this character more your own and do character development and tell us more so when we write the scripts we can include your interpretation)
(Distracted) - "Uhm, later sweetie, its really important I get this deadline finished now, Ill only be a few minutes.."
(Neutral) - "Your father and I have a meeting to attend too, we wont be back for a few days. Invite some friends round to keep you company."
(Rushed/Panicked) - "Crap, I'm sorry darling I forgot, maybe we can go shopping tomorrow, mother daughter time or something like that."
