Big the Newscaster is exactly what the name implies: Big the Cat as a newscaster! He serves as Station Square's one stop shop for the buzz of the city, the weather, Traffic reports, and (most importantly to him) the Fishing forecast. If there's a story to be told, you can bet your Tacklebox that Big News with Big will be reporting on it! 

Big has a small role in the series, making a few appearances throughout the show to narrate on events and serve as segues for Montages.
