Thayne Bell for Ahote - Indigenous American Male (Main).
38 years old. A rootless drifter with emotional burdens. As a child he was sent away, and grew up in abusive fosterhomes. He's weathered by the road and has a sadness to him. He runs from his problems and never stays in one place for long. Underneath his rough appearance, he's well-meaning with a good heart. He's never found his fit in the world, growing up among white people and with no connection to his indigenous roots.
NOTE - While Ahote doesn't speak with any dialect, casting is for actors with indigenous heritage only.

As a child I was sent away, far from here. Unwanted, by my own parents. I know little of my past, of who I am. But I know it all began here, in the town of Pinewood Hollow. (slowly paced with emotion)
I'm from the Dakota Sioux tribe from the Oglala nation, born and raised in the Spirit Lakes Reservation in North Dakota; I am so excited to see this project coming to fortition, even if I don't get the role of Ahote, I would love to be an extra or whatever you need! :)
