Komaru Naegi is the main protagonist in Danganronpa: Ultra Despair Girls, and she possesses no Ultimate title since she never attended Hope’s Peak. Just like her older brother Makoto, Komaru has a very optimistic and outgoing personality. Similarly, she considers herself a very ordinary girl in comparison to others. However, differently to Makoto, she’s much more hypersensitive, a bit cowardly, and jumpy, and isn’t as gung-ho or as hopeful. But with encouragement, she’s able to fight on her own and find the strength to find her family. She’s also quite childish and naive, as she’s sometimes not able to distinguish if someone’s telling the truth about something that’s obviously fake (which Toko does sometimes tease her about). She also seems pretty innocent, not interested in romance or sexual topics, in contrast to Toko. While kind, she isn’t the greatest at being able to relate or empathize with certain people or subjects because of how ordinary her own life was, but she does try her best to do so and be as supportive as she can. However, Komaru herself seems to have unusual traits, such as having the ability to sense ghosts. Despite being a bit childish, she can be serious when needed.
Unlike Makoto, she doesn't have any interest in hope or despair. She tends to waver between the two due to being imprisoned (partially because of the very first motive in Dr:THH). She doesn't want to experience intense feelings of hope out of fear of feeling even worse despair if things turn for the worse. At the start. she experiences heavy self-esteem issues and believes herself to be boring and weak. However, as she gets to know Toko and fights along her side, she's able to find strength in fighting for the side of hope.
Nothing to note about her voice; I think each interpretation fits her very well.

(Start out sounding angry/frustrated, but as she goes on, more confident and sure of herself in her speech.) "You're "normal," you're "weak"... How much longer are you going to use those damn excuses!? You're just happy to be a victim and ignore everything around you! Are you really okay with that, you coward!? Talent or whatever, that doesn't matter. No matter how much talent or power you have, you can’t avoid being scared or hurt! You let everyone else handle things that scare you and say, "I can't help it, I'm normal"... Are you really going to stay that way forever!? Maybe you can't help being normal... But you can't just keep using that as an excuse! If you do... If you do, someday... You're gonna lose something that's important to you, y'know? And after that...it'll be too late! I, along with Toko and everyone here, want a happy ending! A proper happy ending that's super cliché and predictable, where everyone's smiling... So please... Please, let's make that ending happen! Let's stand up against this despair together!"
(Sound a bit more down and in a lower/sad mood.) "No, you don't understand... The worst despair of all comes from having hope like that. Having such a strong hope and just losing it in an instant...”
(Speaking with Toko. Sound a bit teasing as she is poking a bit of fun at her, but also make her sound meaningful and a bit gentle.) "You may be a little wimpy, but you've never broken a promise, have you?" (A small joking giggle.) "Don't worry. You'll be fine! I'll have faith and wait."
